➡ Overview: A single 24oz mug in a neutral gray tone. Identical in shape and capacity to the green version (Product 4), but with a different colour glaze.
➡ Gray shade: Cool medium-gray, not too dark (does not look like slate) and not too light (hides tea stains better than white). The gloss level is semi-matte.
➡ Microwave safe: Confirmed. However, because gray glazes sometimes contain metal oxides for colour, our testing shows no arcing or overheating. But as good practice, never microwave an empty mug.
➡ Dishwasher safe: The glaze resists fading and crazing. Use standard dishwasher tablets; avoid lemon-scented or bleaching agents that could dull the finish over time.
➡ Big handle specifics: The inner opening of the handle is 3.5cm high and 5cm wide – sufficient for even thick fingers. The handle is part of the same clay body, not glued on.
➡ Weight & balance: Empty weight ~480g. When filled with 24oz of liquid, the total weight is close to 1.2kg. We recommend placing the mug on a stable surface before pouring to avoid spills.
➡ Not a thermal mug: Ceramic is not an insulator; the outer surface will get warm. Use a sleeve if you prefer cooler touch. No vacuum insulation is claimed.
